The user logs their time through the toolbar. Managers and anyone else who handles payroll and hours can view the current accumulated hours in real time. The employee or manager never has to fill out a spreadsheet or use any other document to record hours worked. The manager dashboard utilizes a similar color scheme, with organized boxes for each function and a main menu list along the left hand side.
A new user can register for a free 30 day trial of WorkTimer by clicking the green “Free 30 Day Trial” button along the right hand side of the page. The registration form requires an organization or company name, contact name, internal phone number, email address, preferred language, operating system, desired edition, username, password and successful security code entry to prove that the user is human.
WorkTimer provides users with two main account options. The first is a small business membership which costs around $13 per employee, per month. This membership is available for accounts that need access for fewer than 10 users. The user receives access to all basic features, including real time registration, 3D color graphic reports, text and email alerts, toolbar access, project tools, XLS, JPG and PDF export features and much more. Businesses that require access for more than 10 employees pay approximately $10 per employee per month and receive additional features including department features, CSV export capabilities, and up to five year data storage.
